Kate Dodson's father, Charles Dodson, has been wanted by the FBI for over 20 years. Captain Jack, the man who set Charles up, convinces a rising new Mexican drug lord, Fernando, to have his men kidnap Kate and bring her to Mexico. Fernando jumps at the chance for revenge against Charles for killing his older brother. As the kidnap team grabs Kate, Marcos, a member of the team, also grabs Libby Harrison, the only woman who has ever stood up to him. The ordeal brings Kate and Libby closer together, especially when Libby's condition becomes known and she starts to have problems. To get Libby the medical help she needs, Kate decides to stop fighting her captors and to completely surrender to Fernando. Charles, and his brother, David, plan a rescue mission with the help of friends and past enemies, unaware of the trap that is hidden before them.
